Old Time Medicine Show

Here's a thought. Head out to Simi Valley/Moorpark on Saturday or Sunday, October 4 & 5, for an amazing and entertaining event.

We are producing a major portion of the Wild West Weekend for the Underwood Family Farms' Fall Harvest Festival. We are doing an Old Time Medicine Show, demonstrations of Sidewalk Swindles (con games), cowboy poetry and story telling. We will be doing our thing from 11 am - 4 pm, each day.

There is also a gunfighter stunt team, pig races, animal shows, placer mining stream, corn cannons, pumpkin sling shots, a huge maize maze, food court and more.

This is our fifth year producing and performing for the event. Later in the month, on Sunday, October 28, 2008, Jim's band, "Generations," will be performing and we will be hosting a country quiz show.

The Underwood Family Farms' facility is one of the top ten agritourism attactions in the country. It has a permanent event site tied to a pumpkin patch and pick-u-r-own fresh produce operation. It stages its own month-long Harvest Festival. Our weekend is just one part of the month's festivities.

The facility is located at the west end of Simi Valley right off the 118 freeway. You can see it from the freeway. The website includes directions and a map.
