We got hired. Come see us this weekend. We are performing at the Underwood Family Farms Fall Festival in Moorpark from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7, 2007.
Cowboy Weekend is the theme for the event. Shirley will be doing her cowboy poetry backed by the Jack of Diamonds Band. Jim will be presenting demonstrations of the Sidewalk Swindles of the Old West (the shell game and 3-card monte) as well as presenting an old time magical medicine show.
Check out the event's web site for full details - www.underwoodfamilyfarms.com/cowboy_weekend.htm
This is a big event. It is in its 11th year. This is our 4th year. The photos are from last year.
Other entertainment we're providing includes a trick roper on stilts, the Frontier Gunfighters stunt team and a Western Balloon artist. There's also food, a maize maze, a pumpkin catapult, animal theatre, a country store, a country midway, a real pumpkin patch, hay rides and lots more.
If you sign up on line, there is a $2.00 discount coupon on the $8.50 admission price.
The site is at the end of Simi Valley within sight of the Regan Presidential Library. The web site has directions, maps and a complete explanation.
See Ya!

I regret that I won't be able to make it next weekend because I'm going on as Betty Jean, but thanks for the invite! Whoo, hoo!
