Steph, my cousin, and I returned to Pine Flat Lake today after 40 years!!! We used to camp and waterski here when we were kids. We went to her parents' motel/trailer park and found some of the same old trailers were still there, looking the same. Lombardo's dock has turned to Benson's, however. Hardly anyone was on the lake. There were only a few people camping in campgrounds. This place is the best kept secret in California for campers and boaters! The water was very low...look at the islands!

I LOVE Pine Flat Lake! I used to waterski there, too! In fact - shame - it's been SEVEN years since I've gone waterskiing. I NEED TO GO. Hey, that's what I want to do for my 30th birthday! WATERSKI!!!
